1. Demonstrate mastery of all the requirements for CATR

    

2. Explain to the satisfaction of your examiner how you expand your vocabulary for each card by using reversals, dignities or some suitable substitute

    

3. Demonstrate your ability to do tarot spreads of one to seven cards to the satisfaction of your examiner

    

4. Your examiner will advise both you and us when you pass the examination. At that time we'll need:
   • Your name as you'd like it to appear on your certificate
   • Your complete mailing address

The Tarot Certification Board will invoice you for your lifetime certification fee as a CTR which is a one-time payment of $50.00 plus any the required payment for the rank of CATR unless already paid. You may use the following link to make your payment now:

1. Be prepared to tell your examiner how you've expanded your tarot vocabulary for each card in your tarot deck
2. Be prepared to answer no less than five questions posed to you by your examiner
3. Be prepared to use one, two, three, four, five, six and seven card spreads of your choice
4. Be prepared to explain how changing the sequence of cards in the spread changes the reading and the meaning of the cards
5. Be prepared to explain how exchanging some of the cards in your spread changes your answer to the posed question
6. Your examiner may ask you to replace certain cards in your spreads with other cards to test your knowledge of the cards
7. Your examiner may ask you to move certain cards from one position to another to test your knowledge of the spreads you use
8. Please remember your examiner is a volunteer who wants you to pass your examination
9. Please remember your examiner is a volunteer who wants to maintain a high standard for certification

2. Please verify the candidate has mastered all the skills required for CATR and qualifies for that rank
3. Please be certain the candidate has a solid method for expanding the vocabulary of each card
4. Please be certain the candidate understands 1-7 card spreads before asking them to do any readings
5. Please substitute other cards in their spreads to convince yourself the candidate does know the meanings of the cards and the spread being used
6. Please remember candidates may use the decks and spreads of their choice
7. Please remember candidates may use the key words, phrases or concepts of their choice for each of the tarot cards
8. Please remember candidates may be nervous and that shouldn't count against them
9. Please remember your duty is to satisfy yourself the candidate meets the requirements for certification
